Space-Saving for Your Sole

Too many shoes and not enough room?  I am sure this is a dilemma for every shoe lover.  Saving shoe boxes and big shoe racks take up far too much space in your closet.  After searching Pinterest for some ideas, I've found an easy and affordable way to simplify (and clean out) your closet.

Stop by your local hardware store, Target, or Bed Bath & Beyond for a few tension rods.  You are able to choose from several colors, finishes, and lengths.  I recommend measuring your closet beforehand so you can find the correct length.  Try to get as close in measurement as possible, since the tighter the rod, the more sturdy for your fabulous shoes.  Tension rods can range anywhere from $4 to $40, depending on the length and finish.

Now for the installation.  Stagger the rods for heels, and level them for flats.  Keep your measuring tape handy, and it may take a couple tries to get it just right.  Start towards the bottom and work your way up!
