DIY Headband Holder

Headbands can finish off your look any time of the year.  The trouble I have is storing these fun accessories.  I was browsing Pinterest (of course) and came across this DIY headband holder.  Visit your local craft store to create this inexpensive project!

What You'll Need:

-Oatmeal can
-Scrapbook paper/fabric/wrapping paper

-Wooden candle holder base
-Modge Podge or glue
-Sponge or paint brush

-Paint (any color)
-Scissors

First things first, your wooden candle holder can be painted any color to match the scrapbook paper/fabric/wrapping paper that you choose.  Take any size empty oatmeal container and remove the label.  Measure the height of the container and cut any excess wrapping.  Using your sponge/paint brush, spread the Modge Podge or glue all over the container.  Next, stick the wrapping you've chosen and press out any waves.  Feeling even more crafty?  Add feathers, rhinestones, or any other decorations to spruce up the holder.  Lastly, glue your base to the bottom of the oatmeal container.  Let it sit to dry and wrap your headbands around the container!  Set it on your dresser or bathroom counter top for easy access on a bad hair day!

Hope you're feeling inspired! :)

xoxo, Ali
