Transition Time!

Transitioning your wardrobe from one season to the next can be one of the most difficult fashion dilemmas.  Trading out your cozy Winter sweaters to your vibrant, lightweight tops is probably the toughest for any fashionista.

The rules I try to abide by are these:

-Try to expose one section of your body and cover up the rest.  For example, a skirt with a 3/4 or long-sleeved top tucked in.  Show off your legs, but cover your arms for some warmth still.

-Stick with a central color or theme.  Bright or pastel colors give off a Spring/Summer vibe, even if the pieces are made for colder times of the year.  Prints, such as stripes or leopard, work even in the spring.  If the styles are warm-weather styles but in a darker print or tone, don't stress!  Edgy is in & Spring doesn't mean being an Easter egg all the time! :)

-Lastly, try different textures.  Soft fabrics, such as chiffon and silk, look fabulous with "rougher" fabrics like denim, wool, or leather.  Mixing these textures not only will keep you warm on a breezy day, but you'll hit a hot fashion trend, as well.

Good luck, ladies!

xoxo, Ali
